About Annie

Annie AI Careers is for people building something online while still claiming Universal Credit — selling on eBay, Etsy or Shopify, making digital products, and trying to fit that around work coach appointments and monthly reports.

The person behind it does exactly that: sells online, claims Universal Credit, has been through the start-up period and the self-employed appointments. Every first-person story on this site is true and checked before it is published.

What this site is — and isn't

It's the honest, plain-English version of what I wish someone had told me at the start. It is not benefits advice. I'm not qualified in benefits, the rules change, and your circumstances are your own. Every article links to the official guidance it was checked against, with the date it was checked.

If something here is wrong or out of date, tell me in the comments on YouTube and I'll correct it.

About the avatar

Annie, as you see her in the videos, is an animated AI avatar speaking in a cloned voice. Articles are written with AI assistance and checked against official guidance before publishing. I'd rather tell you that than have you wonder.
